Terms of Service

1. Introduction 

Welcome to Worldwide Watchdogs ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any related offerings ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

2. Services Provided 

Worldwide Watchdogs provides information security consulting, cybersecurity assessments, and advisory services. Our Services are provided on a contractual basis and may require additional agreements depending on the engagement scope. 

3. Acceptable Use 

You agree to use our Services lawfully and in accordance with the following: 

  • No Unauthorized Testing: You may not perform penetration testing, security scans, or other intrusive activities on our infrastructure without prior written approval. This restriction is also in place because our website is hosted on GoDaddy, and unauthorized testing could violate their hosting policies. 
  • No Malicious Activity: You must not engage in hacking, unauthorized data access, or distribution of malware. 
  • Compliance with Laws: You must comply with all applicable cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection laws. 
  • No Misuse of Content: You may not copy, distribute, or misuse content from our website or services without our explicit consent. 

4. Client Responsibilities 

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate and necessary information for security assessments. 
  • Clients must ensure that any data shared with us is free of legal restrictions or third-party obligations unless explicitly authorized. 
  • Clients agree to promptly implement security recommendations where applicable. 

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection 

  • We handle all client security data with strict confidentiality and do not share it unless required by law or agreed upon in writing. 
  • Clients are responsible for safeguarding sensitive data before and after any security assessment. 

6. Payments & Billing 

  • All payments for services must be processed through GoDaddy Payments. 
  • Any individual transaction above $5,000 must be invoiced directly. Clients will receive an invoice with payment instructions. 
  • Invoices must be paid within Net 15 days, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 
  • Late payments may incur a 5% late fee for each 30-day period past due. 
  • No refunds will be issued unless explicitly stated in the service contract. 

7. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability 

  • Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that all security threats can be fully mitigated. 
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services. 
  • Clients assume full responsibility for implementing security recommendations. 

8. Third-Party Services & Integrations 

  • We utilize GoDaddy for hosting, Microsoft 365 for email, DocsBot.ai for chatbot interactions, and other third-party services as necessary. 
  • We are not responsible for service disruptions or security incidents caused by these third parties. 

9. Termination of Services 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services if: 

  • A client engages in unethical or unlawful activities. 
  • A client fails to make required payments. 
  • A client violates these Terms. 

10. Changes to Terms 

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. 

11. Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Return and Refund Policy

Return and Refund Policy

1. Overview

Worldwide Watchdogs primarily offers information security consulting and cybersecurity services, which are intangible and non-returnable. However, in certain cases, refunds or adjustments may be granted based on the specific service agreement. This policy outlines the terms for refund eligibility.

2. Refund Eligibility

Due to the nature of our services, returns do not apply. Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • If a service was not provided as per the agreed scope of work.
  • If a duplicate payment was made.
  • If a cancellation request is made at least 7 days before the scheduled start of the service engagement.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Refunds will not be issued under the following conditions:

  • Once a cybersecurity assessment, consultation, or report has been delivered.
  • If the client fails to provide necessary access or information required to complete the service.
  • If a service is completed, but the client chooses not to implement the provided security recommendations.
  • If the client violates the Terms of Service or engages in fraudulent activity.
  • If a cancellation request is made less than 7 days before the scheduled service start date.

4. Requesting a Refund

Clients must request a refund within 7 days of the qualifying issue occurring. To initiate a refund request:

  1. Email topdogs@worldwidewatchdogs.ai with the subject line "Refund Request – [Your Invoice/Project Name]".
  2. Provide proof of payment and a detailed reason for the refund request.
  3. Refund requests will be reviewed within 5-10 business days.

5. Refund Process

  • If approved, refunds will be issued back to the original payment method (e.g., GoDaddy Payments) within 7-14 business days.
  • No cash or alternative refund methods will be provided.
  • If a refund is declined, clients will be notified with an explanation.
